A medical center is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.

This opportunity involves more than just emergency call coverage; candidates will also be expected to assist with scheduled OR cases and inpatient rounding, including weekends. The role requires up to two weeks per month of CV surgery call coverage, supporting a comprehensive Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular surgery program. Candidates must be able to harvest veins for surgery and assist in the OR. The team includes a full nursing staff, one full-time APP, and three full-time employed surgeons. The practice uses Meditech for its EMR system.
