A FQHC is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
Now you may have heard of the bean at Millennium Park in Chicago, but have you been to the first-ever original deep dish pizza restaurant, Pizzeria Uno? Before leaving Chicago, make sure to walk around the Navy Pier as well for all kinds of sights and attractions.
The position requires a credentialing timeframe of 1 to 2 weeks, with a schedule of Tuesday through Thursday from 9 AM to 5 PM and 2 to 3 Sundays per month from 8 AM to 1 PM. Call responsibilities are minimal, as providers typically cover their own patients, though temporary providers are unlikely to have assigned patients. The patient load is shared among three providers, averaging 1520 patients per day in family practice and 1015 in pediatrics, with care provided across all age groups. Required credentials include an active Illinois license, CSR, and DEA. COVID vaccination is mandatory, while a flu vaccine can be declined with a signed waiver. The clinic uses eClinicalWorks (eCW) as its EMR and is supported by three rotating medical assistants. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience caring for patients across the lifespan, possess strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrate cultural sensitivity suited to the community. Local candidates are strongly preferred to minimize travel and lodging expenses.
