Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner – Retail Clinic Setting

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to deliver defined patient care services in a retail clinic setting. The FNP will independently provide holistic, evidence-based care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health concerns, patient counseling, and disposition planning for individuals aged 18 months and older. This role involves working collaboratively with a professional healthcare team and documenting all care within a computerized electronic health record system. The position reports directly to the Senior Practice Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient-Centered Quality and Safety

  • Provide patient education to support long-term health outcomes.

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat a range of health conditions with a focus on safe, high-quality care.

  • Document all patient encounters in an electronic health record system.

  • Participate in the development of Patient-Centered Practice Teams.

  • Respond promptly to patient care inquiries.

Customer Service Excellence

  • Foster patient engagement and satisfaction through effective communication and care delivery.

  • Maintain consistent and professional communication with patients, colleagues, and management.

Healthcare Environment Management

  • Resolve conflicts using appropriate management strategies.

  • Build positive relationships with clinical and retail colleagues.

  • Balance clinical and administrative responsibilities.

  • Adapt to evolving models of patient care to enhance clinic efficiency.

  • Support hiring, training, and development of clinic staff.

  • Promote cost-effective practices without compromising care quality.

  • Verify insurance coverage and incorporate that information into treatment planning.

Requirements:

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

  • Must meet applicable state regulations, including DEA application if required at the time of offer.

Education

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.

  • Current National Board Certification.

  • Licensed to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role in the relevant state.

Additional Information:

  • All personnel must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by the start date, subject to approved medical or religious exemptions.

  • This role is not related to peak or ramp season staffing.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

  • Lunch Break: 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM

  • Clinic Closed: Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
