The position ideally consists of four 12-hour shifts per week and primarily involves inpatient support, with some outpatient clinic responsibilities. As the patient census varies, flexibility is important. The facility is a Level II trauma center and a comprehensive stroke center, with 31 beds in the department. Cerner EMR is used, and temporary privileges are available.
