General Surgery Advanced Practice Provider

A leading health system based in south Florida is now seeking an experienced General Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join their award-winning healthcare team.

Based in sunny south Florida, this leading system proudly boasts 10+ acute care hospitals and over 200 outpatient clinics throughout the region. With an expansive network of dedicated healthcare professionals, this system is equipped to offer the latest cutting edge medicine in a welcoming and innovative clinical environment.

The General Surgery Advanced Practice Provider will work regionally between two clinic sites conducting surgical exams, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, writes prescriptions, and serves as First Assist during surgical procedures. Other responsibilities include collaborating with Surgeon teams, performs inpatient rounding, works directly with hospital administration, and ensures overall quality patient care at all times.

What's Needed to Succeed:

• Completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner APRN or Physician Assistant PA-C within the state
• Prior clinical experience in a surgical setting highly desirable!
