Job Description


A large academic medical center in northern New Jersey is seeking a Neuro Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide full-time inpatient coverage starting in July 2025. This position supports the neuro critical care team during a provider's maternity leave and involves a rotating schedule of day, night, and weekend shifts. Providers must be able to commit to the entire assignment. ICU procedural skills are preferred.

Job Responsibilities: Inpatient Neuro Critical Care full-time schedule
Shifts: 6:30 AM 6:30 PM (day) and 6:30 PM 6:30 AM (night)
3 shifts per week, including some weekends
No call required
Must be available for the full assignment
Work alongside 7 physicians and 9 APPs
ICU procedural skills preferred
Support staff on site
Credentialing required (support provided)
Prepaid travel and lodging provided
Malpractice insurance provided
Qualifications: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with inpatient/critical care experience
Active NJ license
CDS and DEA
Working Hours: Inpatient Neuro Critical Care full-time schedule
Shifts: 6:30 AM 6:30 PM (day) and 6:30 PM 6:30 AM (night)
Skills: Proof of ICU procedural competency (if applicable)
ICU procedural skills preferred
