POSITION SUMMARY
Medical Imaging Associates is seeking an Interventional Radiologist Physician Assistant to join our inpatient and outpatient IR practice in Idaho Falls, ID. This opportunity is full-time, five days a week, and offers a competitive salary with full benefits package.
- Pre-procedure H&P /consents as well as wide variety of IR procedures, including chest ports, tunneled catheters, PICC lines, paracentesis, and thoracentesis, among others.
- Post-procedure follow-up visits Primary role is to be physician extender/substitute for minor procedures
- Assist in the performance of direct patient care services, including inpatient consults and rounding
- Perform physical examinations, determine medical histories, diagnose and treat illnesses and/or injuries
- Order and interpret laboratory and radiographic studies
- Develop and implement patient management plans and record progress notes
- Field phone calls from patients, referring physicians, nurses and other health care professionals
- Educate patients on their medical care

Our 30 radiologists provide the full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient radiology, diagnostic and interventional, general and subspecialty, day and night, on-site and remote.
DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Current license and certificate of authority to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Idaho
- Must be a graduate of an ARC accredited PA program, have active DEA license and BLS/ACLS certification
- Potential travel to remote facility sites in Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana
