Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner - Specialty

Summary

The Heart Center has an exciting opportunity for a PA/NP to work with our adult congenital heart patients. Did you know that there are more adults with congenital heart disease than children? This population is growing, and we need your help.

This position has been uniquely created to serve the Heart Centers adult congenital heart patients. Responsibilities include performing hospital consults and rounds at CHKD and Sentara Heart Hospital. You would also be seeing patients in the outpatient clinic. This position will require care coordination for outpatient procedures and tests. We currently have two Cardiologist who specialize in Adult Congenital Cardiology, and you would be working closely with them to grow this practice.

An ideal candidate will possess:

• Current State license as an APRN or PA
• Physician Assistants - Current National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) certification required.
