Behavioral Health Advanced Practice Provider
Mount Carmel Behavioral Health is a preferred provider of comprehensive inpatient and intensive outpatient programming for adults of all genders who have been experiencing acute symptoms of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and other mental or behavioral health concerns. We also offer a specialized inpatient program for adults who have been struggling with the effects of trauma.
About the job:
The APRN - NP Specialty provides primary or acute healthcare services for specialty health conditions in specific populations in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
This position provide healthcare services to patients in the behavioral health unit assigned to them.
*This position will work 9 hour days with a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule.
*Location - Mount Carmel Behavioral Health Site, 4646 Hilton Corporate Drive, Columbus.
Requirements:
- Education: Masters required in Science, Nursing or Specialty field. Graduate of an Advanced Practitioner program.
- Licensure / Certification: Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio
- Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse in designated specialty required. American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) is preferred
- BLS provider certification required
- ACLS, NRP, EFM and PALs required for some departments (see Exhibit A)
- Holds a DEA license for controlled substances or ability to obtain as required
