Nurse Practitioner - Inpatient Pediatric Hospital Medicine
Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to function on the inpatient Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) service at Boston Childrens Hospital. The PHM APRN will partner with collaborating physicians, pediatric trainees (residents and fellows), and nursing teams to promote optimal clinical care. This APRN will act as a clinical resource to providers on the PHM team, facilitating the delivery of safe and quality clinical care.

Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to function on the inpatient Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) service at Boston Childrens Hospital. This APRN will act as a clinical resource to providers on the PHM team, facilitating the delivery of safe and quality clinical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery of comprehensive clinical care to inpatient pediatric and adolescent patients from newborns through young adulthood admitted to the Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) service
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members, managing patients with general medical conditions including but not limited to: Endocrine, Hematology, Rheumatology, Allergy & Immunology, Renal, Infectious Disease
- Conducting comprehensive patient evaluations and clinical assessments for patients admitted to the PHM service, while overseeing care coordination and initiating evidence-based treatment plans to advance clinical progress
- Serving as a clinical resource, supporting staff development through facilitation of educational opportunities
- Opportunity for participation in quality improvement and research initiatives
- Setting is a fast-paced inpatient environment, requiring collaboration across multiple inpatient medical units
- Working 30 hours per week; rotating days and weekends
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
- Masters degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 4 years of inpatient pediatric experience required
- Prior APRN experience strongly preferred
Licensure/ Certifications:
- A current Massachusetts NP license required (PNP preferred will consider a FNP with pediatric experience)
