Job Overview

• Start Date: October Start
• Setting: Inpatient
• Job Details:
  • Day Shifts: 7a-7p with no call
  • Need 5-10 shifts per month ongoing
  • Setting: Cardiovascular APP for the ICU- Will round and work closely with 3 CV ICU surgeons
  • Patient Volume: varies
  • CLOSED ICU
  • Required Procedures: APP is expected to manage ventilators, vasopressors/ inotropes, medications, arrythmias, VV/ VA ECMO, IABP, Impella, post transplant, VAD as well as medical management as needed. Ideally is able to complete central line insertion, art line insertion, chest tube insertion/ removal, and intubations as well as manage pacing wires, sternotomy sites, and EVH sites independently and safely.
  • APP Support/Supervision: provider works independently but will have additional APP support to spit work a times
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Client Requirements: NP/PA, Board Certified, ACLS/BLS, IL license
