Urgent Care NP / PA

Job description:

The largest Urgent Care in the Permian Basin, rated Best Urgent Care by MRT and the Odessa American. In need of ambitious NP/PA to join the Urgent Care Team, where patient care is the highest priority.

Duties include:

• Assessing and treating acutely ill patients
• Able to perform minor procedures such as: lacerations, Incision and Drainage, Toenail removals
• Able to communicate to a diverse population of patients
• Counsel patients and provide guidance
• Recognition and assessment of disease processes
• Prescribe medication according to State, Federal and organization guidelines
• Maintain current technical knowledge and seek education and professional opportunities to enhance clinical practice and competency.
• Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of the latest changes, updates, and literature relating to medical care
• Perform appropriate diagnostic testing as required
