Full-Time | On-Site | Family Medicine | North Carolina Join a respected, physician-led independent Family Medicine practice serving the Wilmington community. We are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our collaborative clinical team and support high-quality, patient-centered primary care across the lifespan. Our practice emphasizes continuity, prevention, and whole-person wellness while maintaining the close provider-patient relationships that define independent family medicine. Position Highlights 100% Outpatient Family Medicine no hospital rounding Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Competitive Compensation Comprehensive Benefits Package including health, dental, vision, retirement, PTO, and more Modern EHR System supporting efficient documentation and care coordination Broad Scope of Practice: preventive care, chronic disease management, acute visits, and minor procedures Supportive Clinical Environment with experienced physicians and long-tenured staff Position Overview The Physician Assistant will work closely with supervising physicians and clinical staff to deliver comprehensive primary care services. Targeted start date of June 1, 2026. Key Responsibilities Conduct patient evaluations, physical exams, and medical histories Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions Order and interpret diagnostic testing Develop and implement treatment plans Provide patient education and preventive care counseling Accurately document care in the electronic health record Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards Qualifications/Education Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program Experience 3-5 years of family medicine or primary care experience preferred Current PA-C certification Eligible for or holding North Carolina Physician Assistant licensure Skills and Competencies Strong diagnostic and clinical judgment EHR proficiency Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage a diverse patient panel in a fast-paced outpatient setting Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care Location and Lifestyle Located in coastal Southeastern North Carolina, the area offers an exceptional quality of life with easy access to beaches, waterways, and outdoor recreation, a vibrant historic downtown with dining, arts, and culture, and a strong sense of community paired with modern amenities and a mild climate.
