Local Team Collaboration: Join a close-knit team of Hospitalists at Franciscan St. James Health Olympia Fields Campus who serve patients within a 214-bed facility. While a sizable portion of patients are geriatric, there is a wide variety of diagnoses in adults of all ages. Qualifications: Board-certified Physician Assistant and an Illinois license are required. Experience as a Hospitalist is required. Will consider Physician Assistant experience in a hospital setting, inpatient specialty experience, Fellowship in Hospital Medicine, or within training completed hospitalist rotations. Outstanding bedside manner coupled with the ability to collaborate with patients, fellow team members, and overall stakeholders. Authorized to work in the United States. Schedule: Shift hours are from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. Block schedule with some flexibility. Key Responsibilities: Provide support to the physician nocturnist in managing cross-coverage calls and requests. Assist with admissions and respond to rapid response and stroke alerts.
