Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our established and collaborative Surgical Oncology team. This role offers a balanced mix of outpatient and inpatient care, with a strong emphasis on breast oncology in the ambulatory setting. You would join a collegial and collaborative team of seven Surgical Oncologists and two Advanced Practice Providers who are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive academic environment.
Position Highlights
70% outpatient / 30% inpatient clinical responsibilities
Focus on breast surgical oncology in the outpatient setting
Independent practice with strong collaborative support
Monday-Friday daytime schedule
Flexible scheduling: option for four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days
No call, nights, or weekend responsibilities
Academic appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College
Opportunity to engage in research for the interested candidate
Key Responsibilities
Provide independent patient care in the outpatient clinic
Perform minor outpatient procedures
Conduct post-operative follow-up visits and assessments
Manage inpatient responsibilities, including rounding and post-operative checks
Collaborate closely with surgeons, APP colleagues, and interdisciplinary teams

Qualifications
Current (or eligible) certification to practice as a PA or APRN in NH
Successful completion of an approved PA/APRN program. Master's degree required.
Eligible for licensure in the state of New Hampshire
Prior experience in surgical oncology or a related surgical specialty preferred
