Program Director, Physician Assistant Studies
Are you looking to join excellent faculty dedicated to teaching? The Program Director, PAS has oversight of curriculum, planning, development, assessment, and accreditation of the PAS program. This position is responsible for serving as an advocate of the program and implementing decisions to support the goals and mission of the program and university. Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Graduate Health and Professional Studies, this is a full- time, 12-month, faculty role (open-rank) with administrative responsibilities.

Our Ideal Candidate's Education and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited PA program, with two or more years of clinical experience.
Master's degree in appropriate field, doctoral degree preferred.
Three or more years of full-time higher education experience
Current license as a Physician Assistant in the state of Nebraska or eligible for licensure.
Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the NCCPA.
Relevant leadership, fiscal management, and personnel supervision experience.
This Position Is Responsible For:
Provides general supervision for the PAS Medical Director, Principal Faculty, Instructional Faculty, and Administrative Support Staff to the PAS program, including providing recommendations for professional development, assisting with goal setting, responding to concerns, and recruitment and retention.
Plans, organizes, implements, and evaluates the didactic and clinical phases of the program in collaboration with the faculty and staff of the PAS.
Accountability for and oversight of the accreditation/compliance/assessment of the PAS program.
Represents the college and the PAS program through various community and accreditation professional development and networking opportunities.
Collaborates with Assistant Dean for Graduate Health and Professional Studies to develop and manage the program budget and advocate for needed resources.
