Position Summary:

The University Heart Surgeons is accepting applications for an experienced cardiothoracic physician assistant to join our team. You would join a team of 4 cardiacsurgeions, 4 cardiac physician assistants who provide coverage for all cardiac OR cases, 1 office based NP, and 3 night NPs for in house floor and ICU issues.

Full-time days, typically 7 amt to 4:30 pm

1:5call: floor/OR call 6 am to 8 pm and OR cakk ibkt 8 pm to 6 am

First assist on all cardiac cases

Endoscopic vein harvest, radial artery harvest

Hospital consults, daily floor rounds, and clinic coverage

Position Qualification:

Current TN License or eligible

Current ACLS & BLS for healthcare providers

1-year experience preferred

Vein Harvesting with EVH experience preferred
