UPMC is seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant/PA or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner/CRNP) to join our Orthopedics and Orthopedic Trauma team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care across clinic, surgical, and inpatient settings while working in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.
In this role, youll make a meaningful impact supporting patients through the full continuum of orthopedic carefrom evaluation and surgical intervention to recovery.
Schedule & Work-Life Balance
- Four 10-hour days per week
- 34 days of call per month
- Balanced schedule across clinic, OR, and inpatient care
- 12 days in outpatient clinic
- 12 days in the operating room
- Daily inpatient rounding on post-operative patients

What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive orthopedic care across outpatient, inpatient, and surgical settings
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage musculoskeletal conditions and injuries
- Assist in the operating room and support perioperative care
- Conduct inpatient rounding and manage post-operative patients
- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients on treatment plans, recovery, and injury prevention
