SALARY/RANK: Commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is potentially a tenure track position.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in Nursing, current unencumbered certification and licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Pennsylvania, or a multi-state NP license required, in addition to 3 years of advanced practice clinical experience. Doctoral degree in Nursing or related field preferred. The successful candidate will possess knowledge of graduate nursing education standards and accreditation processes, strong communication, organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Experience with CCNE, ACEN, state board approval, or other accreditation/regulatory processes and experience with online/hybrid instruction, simulation, or clinical education desired.

RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will have a primary focus on the development, implementation, and approval of a new Nurse Practitioner (NP) program. This position requires an innovative and collaborative nurse educator with experience in graduate nursing education, curriculum development, accreditation, and academic leadership. The position will play a key role in designing and advancing a high-quality Nurse Practitioner program that aligns with institutional goals, accreditation standards, and regional workforce needs. In addition to supporting program development and approval processes, the faculty member will contribute to undergraduate and/or graduate nursing education, student mentorship, and departmental initiatives by teaching undergraduate and/or graduate nursing courses in classroom, online, laboratory, simulation, and clinical settings, participate in curriculum revision, assessment, and continuous quality improvement initiatives, and by supporting clinical placement development and cultivate partnerships with healthcare organizations and preceptors.
