- Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient
- Patient Volume: Our hosp. census stays between 25-40 pts. on a regular basis. Has gone up to 50 pts. at time. We usually have 2-4 surgeries per MD on the OR schedule each day of the week. We have 3 Phys. Asst. who first assist in surgery, take call every day same hours as the MD on call, PAs and APRNs make hospital rounds, see consults, while we have 3 other APRNs in the office seeing pts. Monday thru Thursday each week. Call is for 24 hours per day so the Mon.-Thurs. call is 7am to 7am next day, weekend call starts at 7 AM each Friday and ends at 7 AM each Monday morning.
- Required Procedures: CT Surgery Assist. IT would help if they can do Radial Artery Harvesting. THis is mostly CT surgery with some vascular, The other assist do Radial Artery Harvesting. There is not alot of rounding in this role
APP Support/Supervision: Team - EMR: Epic
- Client Requirement: Active KY license, clear background
- Travel Accommodations: All travel covered
Other Role Notes: BC Only, Active KY license
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Required Experience in: CT Surgery Assist. It would help if they can do Radial Artery Harvesting.

Baptist Health Lexington - Surgery (Cardiothoracic Surgery) is in search of APP (DNP/NP/PA) providers for Locum Tenens due to Turnover/Vacancy, Provider Retiring.
We are looking for a provider to start 07/01/2026 through 08/31/2026 with potential to extend.
Shifts available: M - F (8a - 5p, First Shift), with 1 week per month of M - Th (5p - 7a) weeknight call (2nd Call/Backup)
Privileges available: Full Privileges, Temp Privileges
Experience Required: CT Surgery Assist. It would help if they can do Radial Artery Harvesting.
