Job Description

UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeking a Physician Assistant for our Digestive Health department. This provider will collaborate with physicians with the treatment of clinic patients.

Working with clinic patients - Discussion of endoscopy reports and managing acute or chronic GI issues

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Licensure Requirements

Completion of an accredited graduate -level Advanced Practice Provider PA program.

Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e. Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina or eligible.

Professional Experience Requirements:

FNP experience preferred, will consider new grads

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

Demonstrated clinical competency.

Effective at collaborating with physicians in the treatment of patients

Strong interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.

Effective interaction and care of patients

Documentation of medical records for accurate billing
