NP-PA-Hospitalist-Pre-Op Clinic (Ball Memorial Hospital)

We are seeking a patient focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team-oriented Hospitalist department. This position is located in Muncie IN , at our Ball Memorial Hospital. Job Description: Full Time, Day Shift 4-10-hour shifts a week with a set mid-weekday off every week 100% Outpatient No Call Key Responsibilities: Extensive chart review prior to appointment EKG interpretation, lab evaluation and in person examination of patients All of this will be compiled to determine any preoperative testing or consults needed, medication holds, and surgical risk assessment APP will also be responsible for interpretation of follow up testing and consults. Will work directly with 1 physician and 5 APP's Qualifications: Board Eligible or Board Certified ACNP, FNP or PA certifications required.
