October 26 - October 31, 8a-5p; includes call with 24-hour call on October 31 ending at 7a on November 1
November 23 - November 28, 8a-5p; includes call with 24-hour call November 26 and November 28 ending at 7a on November 29
December 21 - December 31, 8a-5p; includes call with 24-hour call on December 26 and December 27
Ongoing coverage needs available

Shift Description
Monday - Friday: 8am-5pm
Weekend coverage required

Call Details
Weeknight call required
Saturday - Sunday: 24-hour call coverage
Call ratio 1:2

Requirements
Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA C)
Active Iowa license
ACLS and BLS certifications
Minimum 2 years of cardiothoracic surgery experience
Clean malpractice and background history

Required Procedures / Skills
Cardiothoracic surgery
Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH)

Assignment Details
Level 2 trauma facility
Averages 125 CABG cases/year (few are emergent)
