JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Board: NP or PA certification required
- Licenses: Active AZ license preferred
- DEA: Required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year working in EP
- Name Clears: Not required. One-off exceptions may be made if the provider has been submitted previously.
- Presentations: Submit CV, questionnaire, vaccination status, email, and phone number. Presentations are system-wide, and providers are encouraged to work at both facilities.
- Phone Interviews: Most departments will call candidates prior to offers. Some schedule calls, others may call unannounced. A lack of response within 1-2 days is considered a sign of disinterest.
- Confirmations: Sent by our internal team.
- Licensing: If the provider lacks an active AZ license, proof of application is required before release of credentialing materials.
- Credentialing: Work with Tiffany Wiles or Misty Bourg. Completed applications are due within 7 days of receipt. Notify us immediately of delays. Case logs and vaccination records are always required.
- Cerner Training: Mandatory, remote, approx. 4 hours, the week prior to start. Paid at provider's rate or $215/hr, whichever is less. In-person orientation may occur the day before or day of start.
- Provide clinical coverage in a busy Electrophysiology department.
- Conduct patient follow-ups, post-operative assessments, and post-device checks.
- Manage same-day appointments and procedure follow-ups.
- Address patient backlog to ensure timely care.
- Collaborate with EP physicians to provide comprehensive patient care.
