Locums - Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, NP/PA Intervention/Electrophysiology Opening

RecruitWell is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a locums Intervention/Electrophysiology opportunity in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.

Position Details

• Start Date: 9/1
• Contract Length: Ongoing
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (flexible)
• Coverage Needed: Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Support Staff: 1 assigned clinical team
• Practice Setting: Academic/Training, Clinic/Private Practice, and Hospital

Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage patients in an Intervention/Electrophysiology setting
• Average 18 patients per day
• Adult patient population ages 18-100
• APP may evaluate patients at any point post-operatively following procedures

Department & Procedure ExposureProcedures are not performed by the APP directly but patients may be seen pre- and post-procedure involving:

Interventional Cardiology

• Right/Left Heart Catheterization (R/LHC)
• PCI
• Balloon Angioplasty
• Balloon Pump

Electrophysiology

• Pacemaker Implant
• ICD Implant (traditional and sub-Q)
• Loop Recorder Implant and/or Explant
• Ablations:
  • AVN
  • SVT
  • Aflutter

Facility Details

• Department: Intervention/Electrophysiology
• 270-bed hospital
• EMR: Epic

Provider Requirements

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Experience in Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, and/or Electrophysiology required
• Active Pennsylvania license required
  • Willing to license
• DEA required
• ACLS and BLS required
