What You'll Bring: Proven experience as a first assist in general surgery, demonstrating confidence in the operating room Strong clinical skills with the ability to round, assist in surgeries, prep discharges, and coordinate care effectively Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate seamlessly with surgical teams and patients Active medical license (or IMLC) and DEA registration Board certification in your respective profession (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) Ability to commit to full-time hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Additional Skills That Shine: Previous experience in inpatient surgical settings Bilingual abilities or additional certifications that enhance patient care Adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment Preferred Education & Experience: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program Prior experience assisting in general surgery, particularly in inpatient or OR environments Valid, current licensure and certification aligned with state and federal regulations Other Requirements: Willingness to work full-time hours at Prov St. Mary No weekend, holiday, or on-call responsibilities required for this role Reliable access to technology for credentialing and documentation Willing to adhere to all institutional policies and safety protocols This position offers a highly competitive pay rate, comprehensive benefits including medical coverage, paid sick leave, licensure and certification reimbursements, and weekly pay via direct deposit.
