Join Our Team as a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care Location: Brattleboro, VT (17 Belmont Avenue) Organization: Brattleboro Memorial Hospital / Southern Vermont Health Services About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to become an integral part of our outpatient primary care team at Brattleboro Family Medicine. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to deliver comprehensive healthcare services within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment committed to patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities: Provide independent, high-quality medical care following APRN licensure standards in an outpatient primary care setting. Offer holistic nursing and medical services to individuals, families, and groups, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and wellness. Lead and collaborate with a diverse healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff, to optimize patient outcomes. Educate patients and their families, addressing specific learning needs to support informed health decisions. Identify opportunities for lifestyle and behavioral modifications to improve health outcomes. Maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming clinical environment for patients and staff. Support daily operations efficiently and cost-effectively, ensuring high standards of care. Engage in ongoing professional development, including continuing education, to stay current with best practices and expand your clinical expertise. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, care planning, and quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications: Current valid APRN licensure and certification to practice in Vermont. Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in primary care. Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care and health education. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently within established guidelines and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. No candidates who commute more than 1 hour; we are not accepting visa sponsorship, locum, or part-time candidates. Compensation & Benefits: Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Full-time, exempt position (40 hours/week).
