NP - Family Medicine Job in Plymouth, Wisconsin

Ref #: S-NP-9131430 We're looking for a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join a locum tenens assignment in Plymouth, WI. This is a 13-week position starting ASAP, with a typical schedule of 08:00 AM-04:30 PM and a pay rate of $80/hr. What you'll be expected to do: Perform focused and comprehensive physical exams, assess health concerns, and establish medical diagnoses. Prescribe, monitor, and manage medications; order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests. Provide preventive care, acute treatment, and chronic disease management for persons in custody. Keep timely, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record. Contribute to quality improvement efforts, help with staff training, and take part in patient education. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to support reentry planning and evidence-based care initiatives within the Department of Corrections. What we need from you: Active Wisconsin RN license and Nurse Practitioner certification with prescriptive authority. Current DEA registration and BLS certification. Strong knowledge of advanced nursing theory, pharmacology, diagnostic skills, and correctional healthcare practices. Ability to work independently, handle a varied caseload, and respond effectively in emergency situations.
