NP - Family Medicine Job in Union Grove, Wisconsin

Ref #: S-NP-9131429 Locum tenens opportunity in Union Grove, WI 13-week assignment starting ASAP. Schedule: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM. Rate: $80/hr. Requirements: Active Wisconsin RN license and Nurse Practitioner certification with prescriptive authority. Current DEA registration and BLS certification. Proficient in advanced nursing theory, pharmacology, diagnostics, and correctional healthcare practices. Ability to work independently, manage a diverse caseload, and respond effectively in emergency situations. Key responsibilities: Perform comprehensive physical exams, assess health status, and establish medical diagnoses. Prescribe and monitor medications; order, interpret, and act on diagnostic test results. Provide preventive care and manage acute and chronic conditions for persons in custody. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, staff training, and patient education. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support Department of Corrections reentry programs and evidence-based care.
