Critical Care/ICU/PICU/NICU Physician Assistant

Location: Dallas, Texas Schedule: Weekend day coverage, 0600 - 1800 Start Date: ASAP Must be local

• Nurse Practitioner: Acute Care Adult Certification - REQUIRED
• Physician Assistant: Board Certified or meets Texas standard to practice - REQUIRED
• Texas License - REQUIRED
• Board Eligible: Yes

• Inpatient consultation coverage for general surgery and level III trauma adult patient populations
• NP or PA (PA preferred, but NP acceptable)
• No FA duties required

• Variable volume: consultations, follow-ups, pre/post-operative consults, rounding with physicians
• APP performs discharges
• Basic bedside procedures only (dressing changes, drain management)
• No OR procedures required

• Weekend day coverage only: Saturday and Sunday
• All weekends per month
• Possible ongoing coverage past June
