We are seeking a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner to join our growing group practice in the Roanoke, Virginia, area. Role Overview Schedule: 5 a week within Monday to Friday Start off at 10 patients per day and grow to 15 patients per day Provide patient care in a skilled nursing facility by conducting rounds in their short-term units Conduct documentation at home with provided iPad laptop within 48 hours of seeing patients Commute to a few facilities within a half-hour of Roanoke Key Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments Collaborate with facility staff to enhance patient care Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with a mental health diagnosis Prescribe and manage medications Ensure timely and accurate documentation Requirements Hold a valid full PMHNP license Active VA license Active DEA preferred but not required Experience in healthcare or long-term care is preferred but not require Expected compensation is estimated range of $100,000 - $120,000 annually with no cap on productivity income potential.
