Job Description


Daily Responsibilities for a PICU Nurse Practitioner The PNP is responsible for a practice that demonstrates a high level of autonomy, clinical decision-making, and advanced skill in managing and treating complex illnesses in the critical care environment.

The PNP provides leadership and clinical support for the interdisciplinary team in the PICU/CCU/SCU,

Engages in research and quality management activities and participates in multidisciplinary educational activities.
Procedures expected to perform in the hospital setting: Endo tracheal Intubation, Arterial and Central Venous Line Placement, Chest tube placement, Bedside Procedural Sedation, Spinal Taps.

Requirements for Nurse Practitioner

  • Master's Degree
  • PA Registered Nurse License
  • PA Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner License
  • Excellent Communications Skills
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills
  • Leadership Skills

Hours For This Position

  • Full Time -varied shifts
