Responsibilities

Provide full-scope midwifery care to low-risk obstetric and gynecologic patients Manage prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care Participate in hospital deliveries and rounds Educate and counsel patients on family planning, wellness, and preventative care Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) license in the State of Illinois Masters degree from an ACME-accredited nurse-midwifery program Minimum 1 year of midwifery experience preferred, but strong new graduates encouraged to apply BLS and NRP certification required

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $100,000-$115,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
