PAY: $130/hr
12 Hour shifts days and/or nights. If scheduled for nights, coverage will be with a neonatologist and a second APP.
All days of the week needed - varied
Contract 9 months - initial length

Weekend coverage required - will vary based on staffing
Practice size: 9 Neonatologists and hour pediatricians who serve as neonatal hospitalists covering the set-down nursery
Locums will not be working in multiple locations or settings
Practice has Pediatric and med/peds residents are present most days
Patient census per day/per provider: Approximately 8-10 patients per day in the NICU and 10-12 patients per day in the step-down nursery
Patient Demographics: Neonates
Number of admissions per day/per shift - approximately 950 admissions per year
Number of beds: 31 NICU beds and 20 step-down beds. The unit often exceeds census and utilizes satellite beds in other areas of the hospital.
