Childrens Minnesota West St. Paul Primary Care Clinic has an opening for a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team.
The West St. Paul clinic is a pediatric primary care clinic offering outpatient services to patients (infants through adolescents) from the surrounding urban and suburban metro areas.
The clinic provides a range of services, from well-child care to walk-in care, as well as educational and outreach programs. Providers care for children with complex medical and psychosocial issues, manage acute and chronic childhood illnesses, and provide parental guidance for childhood development and nutrition.
We offer wrap-around services in our clinic, including Integrated Behavioral Health providers, interpreter services, access to Adolescent Health and Gender health providers, along with resource navigators through a program called Community Connect.
In the clinic, we see 10,000 11,000 visits a year, staffed by 4 pediatricians and 2 advanced practice providers.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities\:
Advanced practice providers provide a range of services, from well-child care, sports physicals, management of acute and chronic illnesses, and addressing nutritional, developmental, and behavioral concerns.
Childrens Minnesota offers numerous opportunities for continuous learning and professional development. Additionally, there are chances to engage in teaching students within the clinical setting. These educational opportunities are designed to provide ongoing learning and growth.
Position posted as a .8 FTE; however, we are open to a .6 FTE to a 1.0 FTE, depending on candidate interest and program needs.
Clinic hours\: Monday-Friday, 8am 5pm
EDUCATION/ LICENSE / CERTIFICATION / EXPERIENCE\:
APRN Requirements\:
Current MN RN/APRN License. Nationally Board Certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with either the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice preferred.

Physician Assistant Requirements\:
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Physician Assistant Certification by the NCCPA Certification Board and MN Medical Board license required.
