Family Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:
A Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) is needed to provide comprehensive patient care services in a retail clinic environment. The FNP will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while independently delivering holistic, evidence-based care. Services include accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health counseling, and planning for patients aged 18 months and older. The role requires consistent documentation in an electronic health record system and reports to a Senior Practice Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient-Centered Quality and Safety

Educate patients to promote long-term health and improve quality outcomes.
Evaluate and treat patients' medical needs using evidence-based practices.
Document all patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record.
Participate in the development of patient-centered care teams.
Respond to patient care inquiries and follow up as necessary.

Customer Service Excellence

Enhance patient engagement and satisfaction through feedback integration.
Maintain open communication with patients, team members, and colleagues.

Healthcare Environment Management

Resolve workplace conflicts using appropriate management techniques.
Build collaborative relationships with healthcare and retail colleagues.
Balance clinical and administrative responsibilities efficiently.
Adapt to evolving patient care models to improve clinic effectiveness.
Demonstrate integrity, collaboration, accountability, and care in all professional interactions.
Assist in the hiring, training, and development of clinical staff.
Support operational improvements with a focus on cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
Verify insurance coverage and integrate into the care planning process.

Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner program
Current national board certification
State licensure to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner
DEA registration or eligibility (may be required at time of offer)
Compliance with mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy (medical/religious exemptions may be considered)
