Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Chatham, Virginia

A corrections facility is seeking a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Chatham, Virginia.
This outpatient position is Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with no call responsibilities. The role is open to autonomous nurse practitioners or physician assistants, and supervision may be available for NPs in the process of obtaining autonomy. The provider will see 1820 adult patients per day. Required credentials include a Virginia license and DEA certification. Support staff includes RNs and LPNs. While the practice primarily uses paper charts, Sapphire is used for prescriptions. Credentialing can be completed in approximately 2 weeks.
