Physician Assistant for Breast Surgery
Position Purpose:
The Physician Assistant provides care to patients under the direction of the supervising physician. Assists physician in the care and treatment of patients. Assists physician with initial examinations, preparing the care plan, initiating treatment plans and monitoring the effectiveness of the plan care.
PA will independently see patients in the office setting and assist the physician during outpatient surgeries.
What we are looking for:
- Successful completion of a Physician Assistant program that qualifies for certification status in Ohio. Bachelors Degree required.
- Current license, certification or registration in the State of Ohio. National Certification Commission for Physician Assistant (NCCPA) certification.
- BLS/ACLS certification required.
- Experience: Surgery experience preferred
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to develop ongoing relationships with patients and other health team members for the purpose of providing primary care and education
- We will consider an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner as well
