What You'll Do as a Physician Assistant

As a Physician Assistant on our team, you'll:

  • Provide direct patient care including preventive services, diagnosis, and treatment of minor illnesses and injuries
  • Manage chronic conditions in consultation with supervising physicians
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as labs and imaging
  • Refer patients for specialty services not provided in-house
  • Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease prevention
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in our EMR system
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and serve as a preceptor when needed
  • Uphold clinic safety standards and confidentiality protocols

What You Bring

  • Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and MSN
  • Current Oregon license to practice medicine, DEA registration, and CPR certification
  • Experience in FQHC or underserved settings preferred
  • Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
  • Sensitivity to culturally diverse populations
  • Professional, patient-centered attitude
  • Clear from any State or Federal exclusion lists

Physical Requirements & Accommodations

  • Occasional lifting/moving of items up to 25 lbs.

  • Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
