MaineHealthMaine Medical CenterPediatrics Kennebunkisseekingan experienced Per Diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or PhysicianAssociate toprovide on-call coverage for our Level I Neonatal Nursery serving the Biddeford/Sanford region.
The successful candidate will provide per diem coverage for newborn nursery services, including newborn rounding, attendance at high-risk deliveries, and management of infants requiring Level I neonatal care. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced provider seeking flexible scheduling while working alongside an established and collaborative pediatric and neonatal team.
This position isanticipatedto requireup to4-6 on-call shifts per month.Providers will work closely with experienced nursing staff, and hospital teams dedicated to delivering high-quality newborn care.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Neonatal Nurse Practitioneror Physician Associateprogram
CurrentNRP certificationrequired
Prior newborn nursery and/or neonatal inpatient experiencerequired
Experience with Level I nursery care and high-risk deliveries preferred
This role offers:
Flexible per diem/on-call scheduling
Approximately 4-6 shifts per month
